Have you ever gotten some news, that you wish you'd never heard? It probably won't ever effect anyone but me. The one who told me said they were over it, and okay with it now. But now I will worry that they're really okay. I was left out of the loop and can't do anything about it now. yuck.

We had a youth tailgate party at church night. Had some good food and games. Thanks Daniel and Candace for planning. Thanks Shaun Miller for grilling and Thanks Michelle Walker for the ice cream no one remembered to put away and Susan Knopf for the delicious brownies with the andes mints in them.
I just amazed people with my knowledge of unimportant facts ie: What sport first used the term homerun? Here's a hint. It wasn't baseball, football, or soccer.
We had a great speaker. He touched a few of the youth's hearts. Some had questions, some made professions of Faith. I'm lucky to be able to watch the Lord at work in the lives of these kids!

On Schedule for tomorrow:
Fun in the Sun day at school. We'll let the little ones go outside and play in probably 6 inches of water in some kiddie pools. Might have a sprinkler or two. Throw in a few cups to put water in and dump it out...and we've got a real party!! Let's hope the parents remember the towels, sunscreen and dry change of clothes.

Daughter....school and afterschool band. I promise not to fall asleep and forget you like last week!
